Nick is an experienced senior Litigation and Dispute Resolution Solicitor. He has over 20 years of post-qualification experience in commercial/civil Litigation. He has a particular interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution, including Mediation and always keen to explore settlement by negotiation to avoid Court action before proceeding to Litigation.

Such advice includes debt disputes, contractual disputes, construction disputes, business disputes, issues of ownership, shareholder/partnership disputes, financial disputes, land/property disputes, possession actions, libel defamation and passing off issues.

Karen set up Purdys Solicitors in 2003. She is sole principal Solicitor and Director of the firm. Karen graduated in Law from Trinity College, Cambridge and then studied at the College of Law in Guildford. She has practical and academic experience of Wills, Inheritance Tax and Trust Law, having been a co-author of legal texts and is also a Member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Karen and Nick worked together at Pellys Solicitors before Karen set up her own firm.
